At the young age of 13 Chef Craig began his career in the Restaurant Industry. He found his passion for the kitchen and for the restaurant industry in his first job at Pizano's. As his friends and family will attest having his own restaurant has always been his dream. He studied Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management at Johnson and Wales University in North Carolina.
His dream began in the fall of 2017 when he found the location of Roots. In this first visit the dream began to take shape. The building itself needed some improvements and the design was executed with the help of family and friends. Roots is lifelong dream come true. Now it is a family affair as you will see Chefs Family there most nights for dinner. Come and be apart of our story.
